Intercessory Prayer Every week, intercessors join together to pray for the lost and brokenhearted people of the world. These prayer evenings are filled with powerful moves of god and marvelous results through prayer.
Angel Food Ministries Angel Food Ministries is a non-profit, non-denominational organization dedicated to providing grocery relief to communities throughout the United States. Angel Food works through churches and community organizations in over 32 states. Lakeside Church of God is a relief center in our community. Women’s Ministries Lakeside WM’s are involved in many special events during the year, some include mission projects, annual Mother/Daughter Banquet, Christmas Banquet. There is also an annual statewide Ladies Retreat. Among these opportunities, there is a place for you, a place where you will find friendship, spiritual and personal enrichment, a place to belong, and a place to serve.
Men’s Ministries Lakeside men are the strength and integrity of today’s family. They meet periodically for a special time of fellowship and spiritual growth. Resurrection Breakfast and statewide Men’s Retreat are just a few of the opportunities provided for our Men and Young Men.
“Golden Years” Senior Adult Ministries The Golden Years at Lakeside are an active group who comes together for various activities and fellowship. This includes monthly game night, banquets, and occasionally outings. They meet on the third Friday each month for a potluck dinner and games. We invite all seniors to join in on these activities.
Young Married Ministries Young Married couples meet periodically for fun and fellowship with one another. The burden of raising a family, careers, and daily responsibilities sometimes can become overwhelming. The opportunity to gather together with others who understand is often a lifesaver. Singles Ministries "NEW CROSSROADS" 20-30 YEARS OF AGE. WEDNESDAY EVENINGS 7:30PM IN THE ADULT SUNDAY SCHOOL CLASS. Adult Singles is an exciting new powerful ministry on the horizon. Designed to meet the needs of young adults, there is no greater time of challenge in a young person’s life: a time to leave our parent’s nest and branch out on our own. Join Us!
IMPACT YOUTH MINISTRIES IMPACT Youth Ministry exists to Reach non-believers and Connect them with other Christians to Teach them how to be in service for our Lord and Glorify Him with their talents. IMPACT Youth provides many avenues of ministry such as, Praise and Worship band, Praise and Worship singers, Drama, Greeting Team, Missions, Prayer and Encouragement, and Photography. They also offer exciting times of fellowship each month. We want to be a Youth Ministry that reaches out to those around us that are hurting and let them know that Jesus loves them.
*C.I.A.(*Children in Action) 4 JESUS MINISTRIES Kids age’s 4-12 years old. The Children’s Ministries, here at Lakeside, are honored to take part in teaching your most valuable possessions. We provide and exciting learning environment through Sunday School, Kid’s Church and Wednesday night club’s. Each month, fun activities and outings are planned to help nurture and provide fellowship for our kids. We also have a Puppet ministry that some of the children are involved in to spread to word about Jesus, C.I.A 4 Jesus Praise Puppeteers. We want to teach children that Jesus’ love is for them and to carry the light of Christ to those around them!
WD40'S - This is a group for Widdowed, Devorced, over 40 Singles. A group designed just for those that want to fellowship and lean on each other for support. If you feel there is no place for you, then we got it here! The group meets for lunches, suppers, movies, fun and more. Check out the weekly bulleton for more information.
Sanctuary Choir If you enjoy singing, you will want to be a part of the Sanctuary Choir. Our Choir directed by our Music Pastor, ministers in our Sunday morning worship service and is the core vocal group for the various seasonal programs. Rehearsals are Tuesday evenings at 7:00p.m.
Prison Ministries Each week Rev. Lance Springer, our Prison Pastor ministers to the Mineral Wells Correctional Center. Many times the opportunity arises that we can join with him in special songs and presentations. Please feel free to contact the church office for more details.
Nursing Home Ministries Every Sunday morning during Sunday School, teams go out to local nursing homes to provide a time of worship. Shut-ins at Nursing Homes are many times the forgotten ones. Spending time in God’s word is the highlight of their week. There are always opportunities in this ministry available.
